Edge of Empire review in Britannia

Even though it's a few years old now, we're very happy to see that many people are still reading (and reviewing) Edge of Empire, Jona Lendering and Arjen Bosman's comprehensive look at Roman influence on Germany and the Low Countries. Recently, we found out about a new review in Britannia, the journal of the Society for the Promotion of Roman Studies. While still critical, we are quite happy with their general conclusion:

"a thought-provoking survey that can be recommended to the general reader andthe undergraduate student alike for its lively style, useful presentation of the literary sources, and clarity in presenting a complicated subject."
